One of our favorite things to do is to check out the local sandwich shops in the area. But when you’re in a rush to choose, sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming. So today, we’ve gathered a few of our favorites to help you choose your next stop for lunch this week.

1) Deli Towne
Just because it’s located in a gas station, doesn’t mean you want to skip it. One of the best sandwiches in the state, Deli Towne is somewhere you’ll be craving after just finishing the sandwich. “Home of the Monster Sandwich,” this is a one-stop-shop that has delicious one-of-a-kind breads while also using the finest meats and cheeses.
2) Ike’s Love & Sandwiches
Ike’s Love & Sandwiches has been transforming the sandwich scene for over a decade. Try the Dutch Crunch bread with Ike’s secret “Dirty Sauce” for a stellar combination. Or if you’re looking for a no meat option, this has several choices. Like the Reading Rainbow, with a delightful red pesto.
3) Michael’s Deli & Catering
A full service “New York” style deli, Michael’s Deli & Catering has so many great options of food to choose from. Whether you’re looking for some fresh home made soup, a salad, or our favorite, a sandwich, you’re going to find it here. Check out their Daily Specials. 4) Yosh’s
Opened in 1973, Yosh’s has been a staple to the community for so long because of the amazing sandwiches they have to offer. Today, the deli is known for its legendary, freshly baked Dutch crunch rolls that you’ll definitely want to try when you visit. You’ll also want to try some of the smoke meats that they do in-house to really round out the perfect sandwich.
5) Full Belly Deli
From the original shop in Truckee to the two others in Reno, you know you’re getting a great sandwich when you stop in at Full Belly Deli. Here they use only the freshest ingredients to come up with some amazing combinations that most would definitely not thought of.
6) The Urban Deli
The Urban Deli is a premier delicatessen in Reno. Here you can find top quality meats and cheeses along with freshly baked bread to make some of the best sandwiches you’ve ever had. Try the limited time monthly special for a new and delicious twist. Or stick with the personal favorite. You know you can’t go wrong with either.
