1) Anthem East Trail

Located in Clark County, the Anthem East Trail is 7 miles long. Running along the McCullough Range, the trail goes from Anthem Hills Park to the Shadow Canyon Drive neighborhoods in Henderson. When exploring this trail, you’ll find stunning views of Las Vegas as well as the surrounding desert landscape. While the first .75 miles from Anthem Hills Park is paved, you’ll find the majority of the trail is a rough dirt surface. You should be prepared for some challenging ascents.

2) Lower Las Vegas Wash Trail

This 14.7-mile trail is a popular recreational trail in the Las Vegas area. The Lower Las Vegas Wash Trail is a multi-jurisdictional collaboration between Clark County and the cities of Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. The paved trail offers a wide variety of options, from riding the trail entirely or branching off to other trails as well as parks. All while giving the amazing view of the Lower Las Vegas Wash, the urban river that carries excess water to Lake Mead.

3) Amargosa Trail

Stretching across Henderson, Amargosa Trail is a 10-mile trail with several road crossings and little shade. So we recommend some advanced planning before heading out on this adventure. While you’re exploring the trail, you’ll find educational signage on the desert tortoise and other native wildlife and plants. If you’re not up for the full experience, you can find parking at a number of points along the way.

4) Incline Village Bike Path

The Incline Village Bike Path is several paved trails located alongside local roads in Incline Village. The system gives access to the shops as well as residences and much more. However, it also is a great place for a ride along the stunning Lake Tahoe. The most popular part of the trail runs along Lakeshore Boulevard, just north of the Lake Tahoe shoreline. Here you will see some of the most amazing views of the area.

5) Goodsprings Trail

This trail is a natural surface pathway that takes you from the town of Goodsprings into the surrounding natural spaces. Here you can surround yourself with the natural beauty of southern Nevada while also exploring the rich history of the area. You’ll find several signs along the trail that will give you more information about the area’s plant and animal life. And if you plan the time, be sure to check out the information on the town’s history.
